The Blog

Whenever I went shopping in college, I vividly remember trying to find steals for my wardrobe because I did not want to break the bank. Going to the mall felt like a scavenger hunt. I mean seriously…how many times can someone circle the sale rack of H&M, Forever 21 and ALDO and find a dramatic price change? As if going to H&M to look around, leave for ALDO, then return to H&M truly made a

A little over a week ago, I caught up with Ken on a casual Sunday. I just finished eating some Cinnamon roll pancakes and tofu breakfast tacos from Beerline Cafe right before we started shooting. The last time I shot for no specific reason was over a month ago! Let’s talk about the outfit itself. This shirt from H&M, a favorite in my current wardrobe because of the vertical striped patterns, was the prime option

I never thought someone would ask me to style them for any occasion, let alone their birthday. Kire Dennis (aka Intellect), a friend of mine since grammar school, wanted to dress to impress on his big day. We started from ground zero, and the the first order of business was determining the dress code for Kire’s landing spot on his birthday. The venue called for a dressier attire, and from there I hopped right on

Summerfest 2017
Back at the beginning of July, Ken Bustos (@benkustos on IG) and myself decided to the capture the Summerfest fashion via walking around, and consequently asking people if they wanted to be photographed. This seems very stalker-ish and we were FULLY aware of that during our time at Summerfest 2017. It was eye-opening to see the different styles and showed how everyone sees fashion in a different light. Some people may really like chunky soles

Milwaukee Fashion
The 5th installment of the Milwaukee Meetup was two weeks ago today and this was my first time in the Lake Park area of Milwaukee. The meetup happened to be in a very woodsy area, and I was fortunate enough to come home with a nice handful of mosquito bites (my GF thinks I’m lame for bringing this up in my blog. Good thing this is my blog…:D). Nonetheless, I met a lot of great

Rich Honey Monthly
For those of you who do not know, which I am assuming is 99.9% of you, I entered a contest on lookbook to win a 3 month subscription of Rich Honey Monthly tees. Before I entered the contest, I had no idea what Rich Honey tees consisted of nor did I know what their brand represented. After extensive research, I found out that these tees were higher-end tees manufactured in Los Angeles. Most of my tees are

NBA Player Wardrobe
According to Forbes, the “average” NBA player made $5,000,000 per year during the 2013-2014 NBA season. Additionally, Time Magazine stated in an article published this year that the “average” NBA player spent about $42,500 a month with 11 percent of that going toward their wardrobe. Broken down further, this equates to $56,100 of their annual budget attributed to their wardrobe assuming they made $5,000,000. John Doe and NBA Player ‘X’ Let’s say you, John or Jane Doe,

Payless Boots
I am going to start this blog post with a disclaimer: in no way, shape or form am I advocating for the purchase of goods just to be apart of a “cult” or trend. Too many times I see people buying Yeezys or retro Jordans just to impress others or appear more “put together.” Yes, I do own a pair of bred 11s so call me out on it, but I sure didn’t buy them
